Our story

In 2010, Christa Jouck and Koen Batsleer opened their first Officenter in Hasselt, together with 7 friends.

Originally intended as a good investment for later... However, Officenter Hasselt was turned into a 'State of the art Business center' with flexible housing options for various companies. The 4750 m² building was full after 18 months.

Christa and Koen had a taste for it and looked for a similar obsolete office building in a similar city and ended up in Turnhout in 2011. They also looked for local investors in Turnhout to participate as local anchoring is an important part of success. The train had left 2011 Turnhout, 2012 Antwerp, 2013 Maastricht, 2014 Leuven etc... and so, 14 years later, we have 15 branches: more than 50,000 m² of offices, more than 1,000 companies as clients, more than 240 investors and more than 95 employees.

Our biggest asset through growth is the network we can offer to our customers in an all-in price formula. From day one, Officenter has focused on customer satisfaction and scores exceptionally high at 90%.

Officenter has the ambition to grow to 20 branches in Flanders in the coming years.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I have to pay 6 months deposit if I pay a year in advance?

We have annual contracts, which are automatically renewed. If the company fails to pay the second annual invoice but still keeps its registered address with us, we must take legal action to have the address officially removed. That is why we require a 6-month security deposit.

How is the confidentiality of my data guaranteed?

Officenter We adhere to strict data security protocols and policies to ensure the confidentiality of customer data, in accordance with GDPR regulations. Our IT systems are designed to prevent unauthorized access, and our employees are trained to handle confidential information securely.

Is there an alarm system and security in place?

Yes, all of our locations are equipped with an alarm system and security measures to ensure the safety of our customers.

How is the safety and security of the locations ensured?

Outside of office hours, our locations are accessible only through an access control system. This is achieved through a combination of physical security measures, such as 24/7 access codes and alarm systems. In addition, we conduct regular physical security inspections between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. to ensure safety and security.

Does the price of a workstation depend on location?

Our rates are the same at all our locations. Please feel free to contact us for detailed pricing information.

How many credits do I get as a customer?

The number of credits allocated to your company each month is proportional to the monthly fee and/or plan you have purchased from Officenter (e.g., permanent office, coworking space, virtual office, studio, etc.).

The specific awarding of credits will be:

stated in your agreement or communicated via email;
and/or explained in our service memo and in the Officenter app.

Are there any sports and wellness activities available?

Yes, Officenter has a Well-being Manager and offers free participation in a wide range of sports and wellness activities, such as monthly chair massages, running races, and monthly after-work drinks.

How does access to the electric charging stations work?

Our locations feature both AC charging stations for our customers and fast chargers that are accessible to the public. The AC charging stations are available exclusively to our customers after they register via a special app, and usage is billed monthly. The fast chargers are part of a public network and can be used by anyone. Payment for these fast chargers can be made on-site using a charging card or credit card.

Can I take a tour of a Officenter location?

Yes, you can request a tour by contacting the location of your choice or by emailing klantworden@officenter.eu. We’d be happy to show you our facilities and answer any questions you may have.

How can I participate in Officenter's networking events?
